Folkloric Bags collection 2008

From this collection, the bags designs by Eva Anna became real wearable bags. And were no longer just works of art, such as the previous "Artbags" collections. The production was done in a professional sewing atelier and all bags were provided with small pockets inside. Still all these bags were one of a kind pieces. The unique bags had a folkloric look because of the mixture of fabric and material use. The bags were finished with vintage embroidered wide ribbons and plastic handles. Most of these bags got an extra special dimension because of lasercut layers of fabric or leather. Some bags has lasercut design shapes dangling from the handles. These shapes were the forerunners of the upcoming necklaces collections. The bags were sold at high-end fashion boutiques. Despite the folkloric appearance, the bags had a luxurious appearance and were spotted at several fashion magazines, such as the Japanese Vogue. and other magazines.  The bags were sold at Azzurro Due Amsterdam and at our own webshop of that time.
