Creative Direction Concept

and product design for UNICEF.

For UNICEF I made a creative direction concept presentation. I advised to base all product designs on their own brand DNA . Such as their own brand dna colors and their core values of the Unicef foundation.

This combined with inspiration of lifestyle trends. All this to create a creative concept for a Unicef Foundation product line. Products that are offered to support their cause to collect financial support for all their good causes. Other typical Unicef elements i suggested to integrate into the designs are the typical Unicef children's drawings and their amazing photo archive of all children they supported with theit foundation.

As a designer I have tried to to convince them to be consistent in their use of colors and materials. So that a clear product branding concept is communicated through their products to the consumers. So they understand the product better and are more motivated to buy the product. I called it products with a story for a good cause. I also made an effort to encourage them to work with recycled materials and to replace plastic with recycled cardboard. In addition, I recommended to use the typical children's drawings of the Unicef children into the product design or to use it as graphic prints for products. I have supported a design team to develop and design a number of products. such as the plush toy and the number of bracelets.

See below a selection of several pages of my creative direction concept presentation and some final products we crteated for Unicef.
